Marrakech - the long way

Marrakech – the long way

12th August 2015

When a group of experienced guests wanted to visit Marrakech they knew that the DC-6 was the appropriate means of getting there.

And when they chose to board the aircraft several thousand miles away in Cape Town it was clear that, far from being in a hurry to arrive, the party preferred to reach its objective in style, incorporating a series of uncommon adventures along the way.

In an occasional series of postings we join them as they cruise the length of the continent in an incomparable aircraft, experiencing the pleasures of the journey as well as the destination.

Next time – Cape Town to Etosha, shipwrecks in the sand.
